This Data Privacy Statement explains how Hoesch Spundwand und Projekte GmbH processes your personal data when you apply for a position advertised by us.We attach great importance to the protection of your data and the protection of your privacy. 2. Purpose and legal basis of the processing
When you apply to us, we process the application data received from you in order to assess whether you have the qualifications and aptitude and fulfil the professional requirements for the position you are applying for. We collect and store the following categories of personal data transmitted by you e.g. by letter of application, CV, references, telephone or verbal information: your contact details, information about your education, qualifications, work experience and the skills which are of particular relevance to us. Your data will be used for the assessment of your application and, if an employment relationship is established, also for the execution of the employment relationship in accordance with the regulations applicable to personnel files. Furthermore, we may process personal data about you where this is necessary to defend ourselves against legal claims arising from the application process that are brought against us. Providing your personal data as part of the application process is voluntary. The legal basis for data processing in the application procedure is Art. 6 para 1. b.  GDPR, if you have given your consent, Art. 6 para 1.a. GDPR and after rejection Art. 6 para. 1.f. GDPR. The legitimate interest in processing on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1. f. GDPR is the defence against legal claims.

3. Recipients of the personal data

The recipients of the personal data contained in the application documents are the responsible human resources managers as well as the Managing Directors.

4. Storage period
If we are currently unable to offer you an employment, your personal data/application documents will be destroyed latest within six months after receipt of a rejection, unless longer storage is necessary in order to defend legal claims. In case the application process results in an employment contract of any kind for you, your data is transferred to the personnel file and stored/ deleted in accordance with the regulations applicable to personnel file.

6. Rights of persons affected
You have the right
·         to information free of charge,
·         to rectification, deletion or limitation of processing,
·         to object to the processing,
·         to data transferability.

If the data processing is based on consent, you have the right to revoke your consent at any time without prejudice to the legality of the processing carried out on the basis of the consent until revocation or the processing on another legal basis. Furthermore, you have the right to file a complaint with the responsible data protection authority.
